Os frutos da cerejeira são as cerejas, algumas delas comestíveis.&lt;br /&gt;As cerejas são frutos pequenos e arredondados que podem apresentar várias cores, sendo o vermelho a mais comum entre as variedades comestíveis.&lt;br /&gt;A cereja-doce, de polpa macia e suculenta, é servida ao natural, como sobremesa. A cereja-ácida, de polpa mais firme, é usada em conservas, compotas e licores. As cerejas contêm proteínas, cálcio, ferro e vitaminas A, B, e C.&lt;br /&gt;A cereja tem propriedades refrescantes, diuréticas e laxativas. e o mineral Ferro é importante porque faz parte da formação do sangue.&lt;br /&gt;Natural ou em sumo, o morango é recomendado no tratamento do reumatismo e da gota.
